FORBIDDEN LOVE (Rizkia Lestari)

At 10:00 o’clock in the morning I arrived to my home from the campus. I decided to eat before doing my home work from my lecturer, Miss Nenden. But after eating, I fell asleep because my stomach had full. I woke up at 12:30 pm and remembered that I had to do my home work. So, I switch on my computer and tried to write. When starting to write, I was getting blank. What’s the topic that I would talk about in my short story? At the first, I would talk about corruption, but when I started to write I didn’t know what must I written. So I thought that it’s better if I wrote about environment or about the movie which is a danger for the children growth. Aaaah,,, but I still confused to start it. Aha, about love. Most of people like love story right?! So I tried to write but I still blank what kind of love that I would talk about? I thought more and more, suddenly I remembered with my friends, unusual friends. So I thought I would make a story about unusual love or forbidden love. Before I talk about the story of that love, I will tell you about my friends. I said that they are unusual friends because they are love with the same of sex, or we call them gay and lesbian. But in this story I will focus on lesbian love.

In lesbian the woman as a man called butchy, as a woman called femme, and andro; she love both of them. But now andro divided into three kinds, first is an andro who love butchy, second is an andro who love femme, and the last is an andro who love both of butchy and femme. My friends are couple, the X is butchy and the Y is andro who love butchy. They love is very complicated. They met at the first time in fast food restaurant, the X came to the restaurant with her friends and the Y came with her friends too. In fact, the X is friend of Y’s friends, so they joined in the same table and introduced themselves. They spent their time in discussed about every thing they want to discuss.

Three days after they were met, there was no communication between them, suddenly at one night the Y got a message in her cell phone. She didn’t know with the numbers, the message said “assalamualaikum hi andro muslimah”, the Y thought that massage from the one of her friends who is gay. So she replayed that message, and after 5 minutes they sent the message to each other finally she knew that the X was a sender of that message. After that, they always sent the messages to each other in every day and their relationship became good. Beside that, they often met and sometimes the X spent the night in Y’s house or the Y spent the night in X’s house. They made agreement for their relationship as a sister and brother. By the time, they were falling in love to each other even though the X has a girlfriend and the Y knew about it. They were falling in love to each other but they didn’t become a sweetheart, their relationship still as a sister and brother but their behavior as a couple.

The Y is the perfect girl, she’s smart, faithful, good person, diligent, good in cooking, and pious. She almost every day came to X’s house for cooking, washing, teaching the X’s nephew and nieces, and doing another house work. The Y really loved the X; she always tried to be the best for X and she hope that someday the X would be hers. The relationship was going for 4 months, and the Y felt tired with that relationship because she often jealous when the X meeting or taking the phone with her girlfriend. She always pretended in front of the X, she always smiled but in her heart she’s crying.

One night the Y thought that the relationship must be the end. She knew that the relationship like that was a sin, and as a human she wanted to go to the heaven. But her love to the X was really deep, so she canceled her aim to end that relationship. She still holds out for doing it, event though she’s often crying. She remembered that X ever said that she afraid to loose her someday; she said she loved her too and never let her go. But someday, the Y said to X for ending that relationship, and the X said that if she gone she never could come back again in her side. The X asked the Y to think twice again before she’s gone. The Y thought about it again and she realized that she didn’t want to loose the X because she loved her very much.

On Friday, the X told the Y that she would come to her house. She was really happy because they hadn’t met for along time. She prepared every thing to welcome her lovely person. She waited her for a long time but she didn’t come soon, so she sent a message to ask her when she would come to her house. The X said that she would come at 15:00 pm, because she had to pick up her nephew from his school. She decided to take a bath before the X came, and she didn’t forget to buy a coffee which she liked very much. At 15:45 pm the X arrived in the Y’s house, and the X wanted to watch the movie that she brought. The X watched that movie seriously, but the Y chose to read a fashion magazine because she didn’t like the kind of the movie which was brought by the X.

At 20:00 pm the X felt so lazy to go home, so she told the Y that she would spend the night in there after she sent a message to her sister for asking permission. When they were talking and laughing happily, suddenly the X’s cell phone was ringing. The caller was her girlfriend. She took the phone and spoke with her girlfriend for an hour or more. The Y just keep a silent like a stone, she felt jealous and thought that she had been threw away by the X. Her heart was really hurt, why the X never cares with her feeling? She’s always texting and phoning with her girlfriend when they were together. Why just she should be yield to her? She couldn’t restrain her feeling; she burst out her tears and thought that she had to end that relationship. So, after the X end her conversation with her girlfriend on the phone, the Y said that the relationship between them as sister and brother had end. The X really shocked when she heard that, she didn’t do anything; just said that she wouldn’t disturb her again and went out from that house, leaving the Y who was crying.

After the X gone, the Y sent a massage to the X, she said sorry to take that decision. She’s doing that because she really loved her but she didn’t pretend again. She said someday she would regret with that decision but she had to do it. She felt tired, jealous, and also a sin so she did it. She wanted to go to the heaven and in the feature she wanted to have a family. There were many felling in her heart and her mind.

Two days after that event, the Y really missed the X. She thought that it’s a same if she still in her side or she gone, because she’s still feeling hurt. So she tried to come back again to the X, she sent a message and said “if I want to come back again into your life will you really refuse me?” she waited the reply message, but the X didn’t replied it. For six hours latter, the Y sent a message again “ eeehmm,, silent is yes, there is no chance for me to come back again into your life X?”
